Privacy Policy

Mojo's Club Inc. ("Mojo's Club", "we", "us") is getting ready to launch pet care services in Los Angeles. This policy explains what information we collect through mojosclub.com, including when you join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you join the pet owner waitlist or the partner waitlist, we collect:
- your email address;
- your ZIP code;
- whether you signed up as a pet owner or as a partner;
- for partners, the kinds of partner you told us you are (for example, groomer or sitter);
- which form you used, and when you signed up or updated your details.
If you email us, we also receive your message and anything you choose to include in it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use these logs only to run, secure and fix the website. To stop spam sign-ups, our sign-up service also keeps a one-way, scrambled version (a hash) of your IP address and email address for up to a few hours. It can't be turned back into the original.
Cookies. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.
How we use your information
- to add you to the waitlist and send you a confirmation email;
- to email you about our launch, when service reaches your area, and news about Mojo's Club;
- to contact partners about joining our network;
- to understand which parts of Los Angeles are interested, using ZIP codes;
- to answer your questions and requests;
- to keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse.
Emails and how to unsubscribe
Emails come from hello@mojosclub.com (pet owners) or partners@mojosclub.com (partners). You can stop receiving them at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or by emailing hello@mojosclub.com. We'll process your request within 10 business days. We may still send you a reply to a question you asked us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- with service providers who help us run the website and send email, currently Microsoft (Azure hosting and storage, and Microsoft 365 email). They may use the information only to provide services to us;
- when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Mojo's Club, our users or others;
- in a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Where your information is stored and how long we keep it
Your information is stored on servers in the United States. We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to tell you about Mojo's Club, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
How we protect your information
Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with restricted access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop sending you emails.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct and delete it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't collect sensitive personal information. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Residents of other states may have similar rights.
To make a request, email hello@mojosclub.com from the address you signed up with. We may need to confirm that the address belongs to you before acting on the request. You can also use an authorized agent. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Children
Our waitlist is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to our Instagram and Facebook pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when our services launch. We'll change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we'll let waitlist members know by email.
